Early Career

Hadis Zubanović began his football career with the youth academy of Željezničar, a club from his hometown. He later joined the first-team in the 1995/96 season.

Title-Winning Goal

On June 5th, 1998, in a crucial championship match against Sarajevo, Zubanović scored the only goal of the game in the 89th minute. This goal secured the first-ever championship title for Željezničar in the history of independent Bosnia and Herzegovina.

International Experience

Zubanović represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at the youth international level.

Club Career in Turkey, UAE, and Russia

In 1999, Zubanović moved to Turkey to join Kardemir Karabükspor. After playing for half a season, he returned to Željezničar, where he remained for two more years. He later played for Istanbulspor in Turkey and briefly joined Anzhi Makhachkala in Russia.

Return to Bosnia and Years in Poland

In 2003, Zubanović joined Velež Mostar from Bosnia. He subsequently played for Dibba in the UAE before returning to Željezničar in 2004. However, he soon left the club again and moved to Poland, where he spent three years with Zagłębie Sosnowiec.
