Keith Flint, a charismatic vocalist known as Maxim, was the frontman and voice of the electronic dance music group The Prodigy.
Early Life and Influences
Flint's passion for MC'ing began at the tender age of 14 when he witnessed his older brother's (MC Starkey) performances. Inspired, Flint honed his signature aggressive and intense vocal style, which became a hallmark of The Prodigy's live shows.
Music Career
Despite being known primarily as a vocalist, Flint wrote music from a young age and released two singles, "My Web" and "Carmen Queasy." In 2000, he planned to release his third single, "Scheming," and a full-length solo album titled "Hell's Kitchen."
White Label Release
A notable rarity in Flint's discography is the white label release "Grim the Reaper," produced in the mid-'90s. With only 500 copies in circulation, primarily in London, the record became almost impossible to obtain. Flint himself dismissed it as an experiment that held little merit.
