Mehdi Lassan is an Algerian footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for the club "Getafe" and the Algerian national team.

Early Life and Club Career

Lassan was born in France to an Algerian father and an Italian mother. He began his professional career at the club "Laval" but failed to secure a place in the team after a season. He then moved to a club in one of the lower French leagues, "Valence."

Move to Spain

In 2005, Lassan made a move to Spain, joining the club "Alaves." After spending three seasons there, he transferred to "Racing." In the summer of 2011, he signed with "Getafe," where he currently plays.

International Career

Having the ability to play for the national teams of France, Italy, or Algeria, Lassan made the decision to represent Algeria in 2010. On March 3, 2010, he made his debut for the Algerian national team in a match against Serbia. He has since played in six matches for the national team. Lassan also participated in the 2010 FIFA World Cup as a part of the Algerian national team.
