Modeling and Acting Career

While appearing in an independent film, Mia decided to listen to the advice of one of her friends who believed she could excel in the fashion industry. Initially hesitant, Tyler was not a fan of all the glamour until she found out that participating in a fashion show could earn her $5,000. She started working with the well-known modeling agency 'Wilhelmina' and became the face of promotional campaigns for brands such as 'H&M', 'MXM', 'Lan Bryan', and 'Pennington's'. Mia is also the half-sister of renowned actress Liv Tyler. Despite her inclination towards fuller figures, Tyler has appeared in several films, including cameo roles in the comedy 'Oh, Brother, Where Art Thou?' and the action film 'Rush Hour 3'. She became a VJ for the MTV show 'House of Style' and appeared on the reality show 'Celebrity Fit Club' in 2005. Through the concept of 'Celebrity Fit Club', Tyler managed to lose around 8 kilograms, although she always believed that beauty should come from within. She also landed a leading role in the family dramedy 'A Little Bit of Lipstick' and served as a producer and actress in the drama 'People Are Dead'.

Mia spent most of her childhood in a small town near Lake Sunapee in western New Hampshire. Her parents divorced in 1987, and she lived with her mother in New Hampshire for several years until she moved to New York at the age of 12 in 1990. Her mother's brain tumor began to progress, and Mia stood by her side until her death in 2002. In memory of her mother, Mia got a Celtic cross tattooed on her arm, just like the one her mother had. Mia has always been passionate about tattoos and even got matching wedding rings tattooed on her fingers with her ex-husband, Dave Buckner. Additionally, she once pierced her tongue, but she revealed the details of her fascination in her autobiography. Tyler married Papa Roach drummer Dave Buckner, surprising fans by having a wedding on stage during an 'Aerosmith' concert. However, the marriage ended in 2005. She was later engaged to musician Brian Haro, but their relationship ended in August 2008.
