Early Life and Education

Born on February 1, 1949, in the village of Radevtsy in the Молодечненский district of Minsk region, the statesman began his career as a mechanic after graduating as an engineering-mechanic from the Belarusian Institute of Mechanization of Agriculture in 1975.

Military Service and Early Career

From 1968 to 1970, he served in the army before working as a fitter at the Minsk Machine Tool Factory from 1967 to 1968. Subsequently, he held various positions in the agricultural sector, including engineer and chief engineer of the "Leninsky Put" collective farm from 1975 to 1980 and chairman of the "Rassvet" collective farm in the Nesvizh district from 1980 to 1988.

Leadership of Agrocombine "Snov"

In 1988, he assumed the role of chairman of Agrocombine "Snov," where he served until his passing. During his tenure, the enterprise achieved significant success.

Political Career

In 1996, he became a member of the Council of the Republic, the upper house of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, and served until 2000. From 2000 to 2004, he held a position on the Commission on Regional Policy.

His unwavering dedication and contributions to the agricultural sector earned him numerous accolades, including the "For Valiant Labor (For Military Valor)" medal, the "Order of the Badge of Honor" (1984), and the honorary title "Honored Worker of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus" (1994).
