Biography of Michu Meszaros

Michu Meszaros was a Hungarian actor and circus performer, best known for his role as ALF in the television series "ALF". Born Mihaly 'Michu' Meszaros in Budapest, Hungary in 1939, he began his career as a circus actor due to his height of 83 cm, making him a dwarf. He earned a living through circus shows, showcasing his talents as a performer.

In 1986, Meszaros made his first appearance in film with the popular sitcom "ALF". He played the character ALF whenever the main character was shown in full height, hiding within the costume. This role became his most famous and recognizable work as a Hungarian dwarf actor. He later made several more appearances in films, including a small role in the 1988 comedy horror film "Waxwork" and the family comedy "Big Top Pee-wee".

In 1989, Meszaros could be seen in the comedy film "Look Who's Talking" alongside John Travolta. In 1993, he joined the cast of another comedy film called "Freaked" and also had a small role in the fantasy film "Warlock: The Armageddon".

Meszaros resided in Beverly Hills, California and was an artist in the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus. He was known by audiences as "the world's smallest man". Meszaros was also known for his hobbies, as he enjoyed drinking Scotch and smoking large cigars.

On June 13, 2016, Michu Meszaros passed away at the age of 77 in a hospital in Los Angeles.
