Birth and Family

Mikhail Bratslavsky was born on January 16, 1965, in Kharkiv, Ukraine. He has a fraternal twin brother, Dmitri, with whom he maintains a close relationship despite living in different countries. Their parents were both physicians; their mother was a radiologist, and their father, Iosif Filippovich Bratslavsky, was a respected proctologist.

Medical Career and Emigration

Despite his parents' medical background, Mikhail initially pursued a career in medicine. After graduating from high school, he enrolled in an evening medical school while working in a rehabilitation and operating room. After serving two years in the army, he studied pediatrics at the Kharkiv Medical Institute. However, in 1990, he emigrated to Israel with his wife and young son, Filip.

Life in Israel

In Israel, Mikhail worked as a hospital orderly and later became a licensed nurse. However, he found the medical field unsatisfying and decided to pursue private entrepreneurship. He also continued to play for the Israeli KVN team until 1995.

Business and Relocation

Over the next several years, Mikhail traveled extensively for business, visiting various cities in Russia, Ukraine, England, and Spain. In 1999, he relocated to the United States to be with a woman he had known and loved for some time. They have been together for 11 years and share a happy marriage.

Current Life and Career

Mikhail now lives in New York City and works as a radio host for Davidzon Radio. He hosts several radio programs, including "Erudite," "Radiobazaar," "Radioring," "Musical Capitals of the World," and "Musical Transmission." In 2000, he completed his studies at the Academy of Marketing and Advertising and became a marketing specialist. He also organizes various shows, performances, and events and is currently working on a book.

Despite his family being spread across the globe, Mikhail remains connected through technology and frequent visits from his children.
