Oleksiy Petriv completed his law degree from Uzhhorod National University in 2008.
Early Political Career
Deputy of Nevytske Village Council (1998-2002)Petriv served as a deputy on the Nevytske Village Council from March 1998 to March 2002.
Deputy of Uzhhorod District Council (2002-2010)
He was elected as a deputy to the Uzhhorod District Council in March 2002. During his tenure, he held roles as a member of the Budget Commission and the Commission on Transport and Entrepreneurship.
Later Political Career
Chairman of Nevytske Village Council (2010-Present)In November 2010, Petriv became the Chairman of the Nevytske Village Council. He also holds the position of President of the All-Ukrainian Association of Local Self-Government Bodies.
People's Deputy of Ukraine (2019-Present)
As a candidate for the Servant of the People party, Oleksiy Petriv was elected to the Verkhovna Rada in the 2019 parliamentary elections. He represents Electoral District 70 and is a member of the Committee on Budget Matters.
Personal Life
Oleksiy Petriv is married and resides in the village of Nevytske in the Uzhhorod District of Zakarpattia Oblast.
