Early Life and Childhood
Mikhail Ryzhov was born in July 1939 in Kharkiv, Ukraine. His childhood was marked by the tragedy of war. His parents died during the Nazi occupation, and Mikhail was orphaned and sent to an orphanage. Despite the difficult circumstances, Mikhail's positive nature allowed him to thrive. He sang in a choir and played in an orchestra.
Musical Journey
After leaving the orphanage, Mikhail began working at the Kharkiv Philharmonic. He then served in the army, joining the ensemble led by Suren Babloev. His service added German songs to his repertoire. After completing his military service, Mikhail studied at the Studio of Variety Art and later worked at the Moscow Concert Organization.
Rise to Prominence
Mikhail gained recognition as the first performer of Alexandra Pakhmutova's song "Tired Submarine." He later composed music to poems by Robert Rozhdestvensky, including "Life" and "Everything Begins with Love." His song "Mixed Martial Arts," dedicated to Vladimir Putin, showcased his talents as a composer, lyricist, and singer.
Personal Life
Mikhail has been married twice. His first marriage produced a son. He found lasting happiness with his second wife, whom he dedicated the song "I Remember, My Love" to after her passing in 2008. Mikhail now resides in the village of Vyazemka, where he pursues beekeeping and practices unconventional health practices.

Mikhail's participation in "The Voice. Senior" garnered much attention. He impressed the judges with his rendition of "What Touches My Heart" and advanced to the finals under the mentorship of Pelageya. His performance of the veterans' anthem "Where Are You Now, My Comrades?" earned him high praise.

Mikhail Ryzhov's repertoire includes iconic songs such as "Tired Submarine," "Road of Life," "From Our Father," "I Remember, My Love," and "Where Are You Now, My Comrades?" His unique vocal style and artistic flair have made him a beloved figure in Russian music.
