Early Life and Education

Piotr Całbecki was born on February 4, 1981, in Inowrocław, Poland. He holds a degree in Marketing and Management from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Additionally, he has completed postgraduate studies in Management and Environmental Protection.

Professional Career

Before entering politics, Całbecki worked at various organizations, including Solanki Uzdrowisko Inowrocław and the Municipal Office in Kruszwica. He also served as the head of the Gniewkowo communal enterprise.

Political Career

Council Member and Deputy Mayor

From 2006 to 2010, Całbecki was a member of the Inowrocław County Council, representing the Law and Justice party. In 2011, he became deputy mayor of the Kruszwica commune.

Governor of Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship

On December 8, 2015, Całbecki was appointed by Beata Szydło as Governor of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. He has held this position since then.

Unsuccessful Senate Bid

In 2019, Całbecki ran for the Polish Senate but was unsuccessful in his bid.
