Biography of Milan Obradović
Milan Obradović is a Serbian football player and coach. He played as a midfielder and had a successful career in both domestic and international competitions.
Playing Career
Obradović began his professional career playing for the Moscow-based club "Lokomotiv." During the 2001/02 and 2002/03 seasons, he played 12 games in the UEFA Champions League and one game in the UEFA Cup. In the 2007/08 season, he played two matches in the UEFA Cup for "Metalist" and an additional two matches in the 2008/09 season. In early 2013, he transferred to the Kyiv-based club "Arsenal" and made his debut in a match against "Dnipro." Later that year, he signed a one-year contract with the Belgrade-based club "Partizan." His last club before retiring in 2015 was OFK Belgrade.
Coaching Career
Obradović began his coaching career as an assistant to Slavko Matich in the Slovenian club "Koper." In March 2016, after the resignation of the head coach, he took over as the head of the coaching staff. In February 2017, he obtained the PRO coaching license and was appointed as the head coach of the Serbian youth national team (U-19).
International Career
Obradović represented the national team of Yugoslavia in 2000 and 2001, playing a total of seven matches.
Achievements
Obradović's career was marked by several achievements, including winning the silver medal in the Yugoslav Championship in 1999 and the bronze medal in 2000 and 2001. He also won the Russian Championship in 2002 and the Russian Cup in 2001. In addition, he achieved several podium finishes in the Ukrainian Championship, winning six bronze medals and one silver medal. He also won the silver medal in the Serbian Championship in 2013/14.
