Early Career in Serbia
Branislav Ivanović, a Serbian footballer, began his career in Serbia with Novi Sad and Vojvodina.
Zenith: Success in Russia
In 2002, Ivanović joined Zenith Saint Petersburg and played a key role in their success. He won the Russian Premier League Cup in 2003, was a silver medalist in the Russian Championship that same year, and reached the Russian Cup final in 2002.
Serbia and Rostov
After leaving Zenith, Ivanović returned to Serbia to play for Partizan Belgrade. He was part of the team that won the Serbian Championship in 2008. He then played for Rostov in the Russian Premier League from 2006 to 2007.
Shinnick and Zhemchuzhina-Sochi
In 2008, Ivanović signed for FC Shinnik Yaroslavl and became their captain in 2010. He later joined Zhemchuzhina-Sochi in November 2010 and was named vice-captain.
Injury and Club Bankruptcy
In May 2011, Ivanović suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, which sidelined him for six months. Following the club's bankruptcy, he left Zhemchuzhina-Sochi.
Ural and Dinamo Saint Petersburg
In 2012, Ivanović joined FC Ural in the Russian Football National League (FNL). He helped the team win the FNL championship in 2013 and also won the FNL Cup twice, in 2012 and 2013. After his contract with Ural was terminated in 2014, Ivanović signed with FC Dinamo Saint Petersburg, where he became the captain.
Retirement
Ivanović retired from football in the summer of 2014.Achievements
