Biography of Miriam Carrion
Early Life and EducationMiriam Carrion, also known as Mimi Pabon, was born in New York and moved to Las Piedras, Puerto Rico with her family when she was 9 years old. She showed a great interest in dancing, music, modeling, and other aspects of the entertainment industry from a young age. Carrion attended Las Piedras School and later studied at the University of Puerto Rico, specializing in theater and education. She graduated with honors.

Modeling and Acting Career
Carrion's modeling career began at the age of 3, but her breakthrough came at the age of 14 when she actively started participating in beauty pageants. She also pursued acting and appeared in commercials for brands like Burger King, Jeep, Pepsi, Heineken, Brugal, Armor All, and IBC. Carrion even had the opportunity to work with renowned artists such as Ricky Martin, N'Klabe, Victor Santiago, Don Omar, and Elvis Crespo. She also had minor roles in the movie "The Loosers" and the TV series "Decisiones Puerto Rico" and "Los Panas: Arrested".

Success as a Model
Carrion gained the most recognition as a model and appeared on the covers and editorial columns of magazines such as Ocean Drive, Imagen, Caras, Buena Vida, Esposa Moderna, Agenda para la Novia, and Maxim. She worked with brands like Walmart, Avon, L'bel, Beyond Salon, Esika, Kinder Bueno, Edge Photo, and Tommie Hernandez. Carrion received several awards for her outstanding achievements and physical appearance, including a feature in Buena Vida Magazine, the Miss World Puerto Rico Best Body Award, and a scholarship from Dentince Ice for her unique smile.

Beauty Pageant Success
Carrion won her first major beauty pageant, Miss Puerto Teen Latina, at the age of 16. In 2008, she represented Puerto Rico in the Miss International competition held in Japan, Hong Kong, and Macau. Although she made it to the top 12, she did not advance further. In 2009, Carrion became the first Puerto Rican model to compete in the Miss America pageant. The following year, she won the swimsuit preliminary competition at Miss America 2010, another first for a Puerto Rican model. In the same year, she also participated in Miss Universe Puerto Rico, where she reached the top 10 and received the Best Face award from L'bel.

Television and Other Ventures
Carrion made her television debut at the age of 16 on the show "Noche Caliente." In 2009, she became the host of a popular Puerto Rican lottery show. Currently, Carrion balances her career in acting, modeling, and television, dedicating most of her time to her work on television.
