Early Life and Education

Mikhail Kit was born in 1943 in Kolomyia, Ukraine. He pursued vocal studies at the Odessa Conservatory, graduating in 1973.

Operatic Career

Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre (1973-1986)

In 1973, Kit joined the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre as a soloist. He performed in various productions, including "Ruslan and Lyudmila," "Ivan Susanin," and "The Sorochintsy Fair."

Mariinsky Theatre (1986-Present)

Since 1986, Kit has been a soloist with the Mariinsky Theatre. His repertoire includes iconic roles such as Boris Godunov, Dosifei, Prince Igor, Gremin, and King René.
