Mladen Dabanović: Slovenian Football Goalkeeper
Early CareerMladen Dabanović, a Slovenian footballer, began his football journey with the youth team of Dravinja. In 1991, he signed his first professional contract with Maribor, where he played for five years and won two Slovenian Cups (in 1992 and 1994).
Domestic Success
In 1995, Dabanović moved to Rudar, where he won another Slovenian Cup in 1998. His impressive performances earned him a move to Belgium in 1999, where he joined Lokeren and played for five seasons.
Return to Slovenia
In 2004, Dabanović returned to his homeland and joined his former club Drava. He spent the rest of his professional career there, retiring in 2008.
International Career
Dabanović made his debut for the Slovenian national team on 19 August 1998 in a friendly match against Hungary (1-2). He was a key member of the team that participated in Euro 2000 and the 2002 World Cup. In total, he made 25 appearances for Slovenia.
