Moise Kean: Rising Star in Italian Football

Club Career

Moise Kean is an Italian-born footballer of Ivorian descent who currently plays as a forward for Serie A club Juventus. He is on loan to Hellas Verona for the 2022-23 season.

Kean's footballing journey began at Torino and Juventus, two prominent clubs in Turin, Italy. He made his breakthrough to the Juventus first team in the 2016-17 season. On November 19, 2016, he made his Serie A debut in a match against Pescara. Just three days later, he became the first player born in 2000 to feature in the UEFA Champions League, substituting for Miralem Pjanic in a game against Dinamo Zagreb.

Kean's most significant moment came on May 27, 2017, in Juventus' final league match of the season. Coming off the bench for Paulo Dybala, he scored the match-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Bologna. This achievement made him the first player born in 2000 to score in a top-five European league.

International Career

Kean has represented Italy at various youth levels. He featured for the U-17 team at the 2016 UEFA European Under-17 Championship, scoring one goal in two appearances.
