Early Life and Career
Walker began his football career at Guarani Futebol Clube in Campinas, São Paulo, before moving to AFC Ajax in Amsterdam in 1999.
Youth Team Success at Ajax
As part of Ajax's youth team, Walker played in the 2001/2002 Dutch Cup, where the team advanced to the semifinals. He scored a crucial penalty in the Round of 16 against FC Twente, helping Ajax progress to the quarterfinals.
Professional Debut and Loan to Belgium
In 2002, Walker was loaned to Belgian club Germinal Beerschot for a season. He made his professional debut on September 15, 2002, in a 1-1 draw against La Louvière. Walker made 23 league appearances and scored one goal during his time in Belgium.
Return to Ajax and Move to Brazil
After his loan spell, Walker returned to Ajax's youth team before joining Atlético Mineiro in 2004. He spent two years with the Brazilian club, making 45 league appearances and scoring one goal. Walker subsequently played for Juventude, Náutico Recife, and Itumbiara before returning to Juventude in May 2008.
Later Career
In January 2010, Walker joined Rio Claro FC in the Campeonato Paulista. He later played for Santo André in the second half of 2010.
International Career
In 1999, Walker represented Brazil's U-20 team at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand, where Brazil emerged victorious.
