Munir El Haddadi is a Dutch-Moroccan footballer who plays as a forward for the Amsterdam-based club, Ajax, and the Moroccan national team. Born on September 1, 1995, in El Escorial, Spain, Munir's football journey began at the youth academy of the club Excelsior Rotterdam.

Early Career

In 2004, Munir made a move to Tottenham Hotspur, a Premier League club in England. However, from 2005 to 2006, he was loaned out to Derby County, where he gained valuable playing experience. Following his loan spell, Munir joined Willem II in June 2006. Despite showing great promise and scoring three goals in his first four matches, he suffered a serious injury that kept him sidelined for six months.

On August 31, 2007, Munir signed with AZ Alkmaar, a Dutch professional football club.
