Early Life and Club Career

Born in Brazil, Nariz began his football career as a defender for Atlético Mineiro. Within just three years at the club, he made a remarkable impact, securing two consecutive Campeonato Mineiro titles in 1931 and 1932.

Success with Botafogo

Nariz subsequently joined Fluminense and later became a seven-year stalwart at Botafogo. It was at Botafogo that he achieved his greatest club success, leading the team to victory in the Campeonato Carioca in 1935.

International Representation

Nariz represented Brazil internationally, earning five caps for the national team. He made three appearances at the 1937 South American Championship and one at the 1938 FIFA World Cup, where he played in the match against Czechoslovakia.
