Early Life and Education
Kosciusko-Morizet was born into a family with deep political roots. Her great-grandfather Jacques Kosciusko served as France's ambassador to the United States, while her great-great-grandfather Andre Morizet was a senator. Her father, Francois Kosciusko-Morizet, is the current mayor of Sevres.
Kosciusko-Morizet earned a degree in biology from the École Polytechnique, followed by studies at the Institut des Sciences et Industries du Vivant et de l'Environnement and the Collège des Ingénieurs.
Public Service
Kosciusko-Morizet entered public service in 1997, where she rose through the ranks quickly. In 2002, she was appointed as a government consultant on ecology and sustainable development.
