Early Life

Nicolae Josan, a Moldovan footballer, was born in Ribnita, Moldova. As a child, he showed enthusiasm for both fishing and football.

Professional Career

Josan's professional football journey commenced in 2001 when he signed with FC Sheriff Tiraspol. In 2003-2004, he played for FC Tiraspol under a loan agreement.

In March 2006, Josan joined FC KAMAZ Naberezhnye Chelny in Russia. After appearing in 14 First Division games, he was loaned back to FC Iskra-Stal Rîbnița. Upon the conclusion of the loan deal, Josan declined to extend his contract with KAMAZ due to financial concerns.

In February 2008, he signed with FC Anzhi Makhachkala. Josan quickly settled into the team and became the tournament's top midfielder during the first half of the 2008 First Division campaign. In 2009, he was recognized as the First Division's Best Midfielder.

After facing health challenges in 2011, Josan recovered and inked a deal with FC Dacia Chișinău in February 2012.

International Career

From 2004 to 2007, Josan represented Moldova's national team in nine matches, notching a goal against Hungary. However, between 2008 and 2009, Anzhi denied Josan's participation in the national team.

In 2010, he made a comeback to the team after a three-year absence, playing in two matches against Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates.
