Predecessor to Google

Prior to joining Google, Nikesh held the position of Chief Marketing Officer and served on the board of directors at T-Mobile. During his tenure, he led product development, terminal development, marketing, and branding for T-Mobile Europe. In 1999, he co-founded T-Motion PLC, a T-Mobile International subsidiary focusing on multimedia mobile solutions. Before joining Deutsche Telekom, Nikesh held leadership roles at Fidelity Investments and Putnam Investments in Boston.

Education and Academic Pursuits

Nikesh holds a Master of Science degree and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from Boston College, as well as an MBA from Northeastern University, all with honors. He has lectured at Boston College and Northeastern University, developing and teaching courses in business cycles, corporate finance, and financial management.

Early Career and Education

Nikesh began his career in 1989 with a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from the Institute of Technology at Varanasi, India.
