Early Life and Education

Ukrainian lawyer, advocate, and politician Oleksiy Kucherenko was born on September 17, 1980, in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. In 1997, he graduated from Boarding School No. 3 for Orphans.

After completing school, Kucherenko pursued a legal career. In 2002, he graduated from the Institute of International Relations at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a degree in international private law.

Legal Career

In 2003, Kucherenko obtained his license to practice law and began his private legal practice. He continued his education by completing a postgraduate program at the Faculty of Law, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, in 2005.

Political Journey

Kucherenko's political career began in 2010 when he became a deputy of the Kyiv Oblast Council (VI convocation). From February 27, 2014, to November 10, 2015, he served as the Chairman of the Kyiv Oblast Council. He is also the head of the public association "Bila Tserkva Razom" (Bila Tserkva Together).

Business Endeavors

In 2015, Kucherenko founded and became the director of BioPromEnergo LLC and the investment attraction center BC Invest.

Parliamentary Career

Kucherenko ran as a candidate for the Verkhovna Rada (Ukraine's parliament) in the 2019 election, representing the "Bila Tserkva Razom" party in single-mandate constituency No. 90. He won the election with 28.2% of the vote. On December 6, 2019, he joined the "Dovira" parliamentary group.

As a member of parliament, Kucherenko serves as the Secretary of the Committee on Social Policy and Veterans' Rights and Chairman of the Subcommittee on Labor Relations and Employment Regulation.
