Early Life and Education
He was born on May 13, 1983, in Hlukhiv, Sumy Oblast, Ukraine. In 1997, he graduated with honors from the Maxim Berezovsky School of Arts. Afterward, he attended Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University, graduating in 2005.
Military Service
From May 2004 to October 2005, he served in military unit 3022 of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. From December 2005 to December 2008, he served as a contractor in military unit 9953 of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
Powerlifting Career
In 2005, he became a Master of Sports of Ukraine in powerlifting. In 2008, he won the WUAP World Bench Press Championship. He has been a multiple winner and medalist in international and Ukrainian powerlifting and bench press competitions.
Journalistic Career
Since 2009, he has been a correspondent for the magazine "Iron World." In August 2010, he became the director of the Ukrainian edition of "Iron World." He is a member of the Association of Sports Journalists of Ukraine (ASJU), the International Association of Sports Press (AIPS), and the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine.
