Born on April 17, 1943, in the village of Lipovka, Ukraine, the politician is a native of Vinnytsia Oblast. His educational background includes studies at the Uman Agricultural Institute, where he graduated in 1978 with a degree in agricultural science.
Political Career
First Term as a Member of Parliament (1990-1994)The politician's political journey began in 1990 when he was elected as a member of the Ukrainian Parliament for the first term, representing the 37th electoral district in Vinnytsia Oblast. During this period, he was affiliated with the "People's Council" and the "New Ukraine" faction.
Unsuccessful Campaigns (1994, 1998)
In 1994, he ran for re-election in the 61st electoral district but failed to secure a victory. Similarly, in 1998, he sought election in the 17th electoral district but placed third among the candidates.
Return to Parliament (2002-2006)
In 2002, he rejoined the Ukrainian Parliament as a member of the Socialist Party of Ukraine (SPU). He served on the Committee for Agrarian Policy and Land Relations, chairing the subcommittee on budget formation and investment policy.
