Nikoloz Paikridze
Early Life and Education
In the Georgian city of Zestafoni, 16 May 1991, marked the birth of Nikoloz Paikridze. His mother, Lali, and father, Levan, welcomed their son into the world with great joy. Two years prior, Lali had graduated from local school No. 2.
As a child, Nikoloz displayed a reserved and introverted nature, unlike many of his peers. It took him considerable time to adjust socially, finding solace in theater only in the ninth grade. Inspired by his grandfather, an actor who tragically died on stage, Nikoloz embraced his artistic heritage.
Theatrical Career
After graduating from the Georgian State University of Theatre and Film, Nikoloz joined the Nodar Dumbadze Youth Theater. His captivating performances in "Romeo and Juliet," "Rumpelstiltskin," and "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" showcased his versatility. In 2017, he debuted his solo performance, "Night and the Parrot," which featured his own poetry.
Poetic Endeavors
Following in the footsteps of his uncle, poet Sasha Gvelesiani, Nikoloz published his first collection of poems in 2017, "You Are My Madness, Hanged on a Rope." His second book, "I Am Looking for One Poem," followed shortly after.
Personal Life
In 2014, Nikoloz became a father to a son, Toma. The child became his greatest inspiration, and Nikoloz strives to live a life that would make him proud.
Film Debut
2021 marked Nikoloz's cinematic debut in Renat Davletyarov's "The Flyer." His portrayal of Shota Suladze, alongside Pyotr Fyodorov, brought him international recognition.
Present and Future
Currently, Nikoloz continues his theatrical career while pursuing film opportunities. He is set to play the lead role in a new production, "This is Me, Nikoloz Baratasvili," and remains active in poetic projects.
