Early Life and Career

American skier Tad Elliott Hoffman was born and raised in Sun Valley, Idaho. His passion for skiing began at a young age, and he quickly developed into a promising talent.

World Cup Debut and Successes

Hoffman made his World Cup debut on January 17, 2009. In December 2012, he achieved his first top-10 finish at a World Cup stage. Throughout his career, he has accumulated three top-10 finishes in World Cup events, including two in individual races and one in a team competition. His best overall World Cup ranking was 48th in the 2012-13 season.

Olympic Experience

In 2014, Hoffman represented the United States at the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi. He competed in four events: the 15km classical, the skiathlon, the relay, and the 50km mass start, finishing 31st, 35th, 11th, and 26th, respectively.

World Championships and Other Achievements

Hoffman has also participated in two World Championships, with his best result being a 10th-place finish in the relay at the 2013 championships. Individually, he placed 15th in the 15km freestyle race at the same event.
