Now United: A Pop Phenomenon United by Diversity

The Concept

Now United is a global pop group founded in 2017 by British music executive Simon Fuller, the mastermind behind the Spice Girls and American Idol. Fuller's vision was to create a unique collective that showcased the cultural diversity and talent of young performers from around the world.

Genesis and Members

In 2016, Fuller launched an online audition process via Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube to find talented singers, dancers, and performers from different nationalities. After rigorous screening, the selected candidates were invited to a final selection round in Los Angeles in the summer of 2017.

The initial lineup featured Joalin Loukamaa (Finland), Sofya Plotnikova (Russia), Diarra Sylla (Senegal), and Noah Urrea (USA). They were soon joined by Hina Yoshihara (Japan), Lamar Morris (UK), Bailey May (Philippines), and others. Their debut performance together was a cover of Nadir Khayat's "Boom Boom."

International Success

In 2018, Now United embarked on their first world tour, performing at major events such as "The Voice Kids" in Moscow. During their tour, they collaborated with pop stars such as Adelina and RedOne on the single "One World." They also released their debut single and music video for "Summer in the City."

Over the following years, the group's lineup expanded to include representatives from Australia, North Africa, and the Middle East. They continued to release popular songs such as "Beautiful Life," "Paraná," and "Crazy Stupid Silly Love."

Global Impact

Now United has performed at prestigious events worldwide, including the Special Olympics World Games in Abu Dhabi and the UEFA Champions League Final in Madrid. They have collaborated with sports stars and fans on music videos, such as "Paraná."

In 2019, the group toured Brazil and premiered new songs such as "Live This Moment" and "Dana Dana." Their "Dreams Come True Tour" further solidified their international following.

The Pandemic and Beyond

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, Now United continued to release music and perform virtually. They recorded songs such as "Let the Music Move You" and "Feel It Now" while staying connected through technology.

In late 2020, the group reunited in Dubai to film new music videos. They returned to live performances at the Global Village festival in 2021 and released the hit single "One Love."

Now United Today

As of 2023, Now United consists of over ten members from various countries, continuing to bridge cultural divides through their music and message of unity. They have released numerous singles, music videos, and albums, and have toured globally, spreading their positive message of diversity and inclusion.
