Early Life and Family

Odessa A'zion was born Odessa Zion Segall on June 17, 2000, in Los Angeles, California. She is the middle daughter of producer and screenwriter Felix O. Adlon and actress and comedian Pamela Adlon. Her siblings are older sister Gideon Adlon and younger sister Valentine "Rocky" Adlon.

The Adlon family has a distinguished history in the entertainment industry. Her paternal grandfather is German filmmaker Percy Adlon, the great-grandson of Lorenz Adlon, founder of the Hotel Adlon in Berlin. Her maternal grandfather is producer and screenwriter Don Segall, who raised his family in a Jewish household.

Childhood and Education

Odessa grew up in Boston, Massachusetts, and Neuhofen an der Ybbs, Austria. She attended Charter High School of the Arts Multimedia and Performing in the San Fernando Valley.

Growing up, Odessa was influenced by her mother's success in the entertainment industry. Pamela Adlon won an Emmy Award for her role in the animated series "King of the Hill." Odessa also appeared in several of her mother's projects during her childhood.

Acting Career

Odessa made her film debut in 2011's "Conception," a romantic comedy featuring nine different couples who are all trying to conceive a child. In 2016, she co-starred with her mother and sister in "Better Things," a semi-autobiographical comedy series.

Odessa has since appeared in numerous television and film projects, including "Nashville" (2017), "What About Barb?" (2017), "The Love" (2019), "Wayne" (2019), and "The Family" (2019). In 2019, she landed a recurring role on the comedy series "The Great Army," where she played Joey Del Marco, a high school student coping with the trauma of sexual assault.

Personal Life

In 2017, Odessa began dating actor Jaden Smith. They attended her prom in 2018. However, the couple eventually broke up.

Odessa is an avid animal lover and has several pets, including dogs, cats, snakes, and an iguana. She resides in Los Angeles, California.

Current and Upcoming Projects

In 2022, Odessa's upcoming projects included the horror film "Hellraiser" and the drama "Am I OK?" She has also been involved in other projects, such as "The Inhabitant," "For the Night," "Good Girl Jane," and "Pools."
