Biography of Ognjen Vukojević
Ognjen Vukojević is a Croatian football player who currently plays as a defensive midfielder for the Kyiv-based club "Dynamo" and the Croatian national team. He began his football career playing for the "Belovar" football club in the third league of the Croatian championship. In 2003, he signed his first professional contract with the "Slaven Belupo" club in Koprivnica.

In 2005, Vukojević moved to the Belgian club "Lierse," but he was unable to fully develop his potential there, and in December 2005, he returned to his homeland to join "Dynamo" Zagreb. He established himself in the team during the 2006-2007 season and became one of the team's leaders. His style of play earned him the nickname "Gattuso" from the fans.
On May 25, 2008, Vukojević signed a five-year contract with Kyiv's "Dynamo." In an interview with the club's press service, he stated that he chose Dynamo over other clubs such as Celtic, Ajax, and Bayern Munich. Since August 2007, he has been regularly called up to the Croatian national team. He made his debut on October 16, 2007, in a friendly match against Slovakia, during which he scored his first goal for the national team.
On May 5, 2008, the Croatian coach, Slaven Bilić, announced the squad for the UEFA Euro 2008, and Vukojević was included as number 8. He participated in two matches during the tournament. Throughout his career, Vukojević has achieved several titles, including three Croatian championships (2005/2006, 2006/2007, 2007/2008), two Croatian Cup victories (2005/2006, 2007/2008), one Croatian Super Cup (2006), and one Ukrainian championship (2008-2009).
