International Football Career

Debut and Early Appearances

Igors Stepanovs made his international debut for Latvia at the age of 19 in July 1992 against Estonia. He became a regular member of the national team, making sporadic appearances until 2004.

EURO 2004

Stepanovs represented Latvia at the UEFA Euro 2004 in Portugal. He played a crucial role in the team's memorable run to the tournament's second round.

Last International Match

In December 2004, Stepanovs bid farewell to international football in a friendly match against Oman. He ended his career with 70 appearances and two goals for Latvia.

Club Football Career

SKonto Riga Success

Igors Stepanovs spent the majority of his club career at the Latvian giants Skonto Riga. He was an integral part of the team's dominant era, winning 13 Latvian Championships and seven Latvian Cups.
