Olesia Vlasova is an actress of theater and cinema. She is best known for her role as Lisa Filatova in the series "Female Doctor". Despite her parents' hopes for her to become a doctor, Olesia's life circumstances always seemed to push her towards becoming an actress. One day, she came across an advertisement in the newspaper about a theater studio recruiting participants. She decided to give it a try and found herself enjoying her time there, making new friends.
Later, while working at a television station in Odessa, Olesia coincidentally ran into an old friend who was planning to apply to a theater school. To ease her friend's nerves, Olesia accompanied her to the auditions. This unexpected encounter introduced Olesia to the world of theater. She easily enrolled in the Kiev Theater Institute but only truly realized her passion for acting after graduating.
Olesia's first film role was in a movie directed by Yuriy Odynokiy, who predicted a promising future for her in the film industry. Although Olesia admits that she doesn't have many film appearances, she thoroughly enjoys the experience. She applies everything she learned during rehearsals for theater productions while filming. However, there were moments in her personal life when she contemplated leaving the profession. During a period of financial struggle, while on American tours, Olesia was offered a well-paid job as a nanny in the United States. She started considering the offer, but a touring producer warned her that if she accepted, it would be nearly impossible to return to her acting career. Olesia decided to decline the opportunity.
Not only is Olesia's career flourishing, but her personal life is also very successful. She starred alongside her husband, actor Igor Rubashkin, in the first part of "Female Doctor". According to Olesia, she takes on the leading role in their family, with Igor occasionally taking charge when she is overwhelmed. They have two daughters, Polina and Varvara. While the girls are still young, they have become accustomed to their mother's frequent absences, although the youngest struggles with it.
