Olivier Giroud is a well-known 26-year-old footballer from France who currently plays as a forward for the London-based club, Arsenal. He started his football career at Grenoble, where he played until 2007. He was later transferred to Istres, where he scored fourteen goals in thirty-three matches. In 2008, Giroud joined the team Tour in Ligue 2 and became the top scorer of the league in the 2009/2010 season.

In 2010, Giroud was bought by Montpellier, where he gained worldwide recognition. In his first year with the team, he scored twelve goals in thirty-three games.
