Early Life and Career

Oskars Gudramovičs was born on July 4, 1988, in Riga, Latvia. He began his luge career at the young age of sixteen. In 2004, he joined the Latvian national team and began competing alongside Pēteris Kalniņš in international events.

International Debut and Successes

Gudramovičs made his World Cup debut in the 2006/07 season, finishing 30th overall. He also participated in his first senior World Championships that year, placing 26th. Over the next few years, he steadily improved his world ranking, reaching 23rd in 2008 and 26th in 2009.

Olympic Appearances

Gudramovičs earned his Olympic debut at the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver, where he finished 12th. He followed this up with a seventh-place finish at the European Championships in Sigulda, his best result at the continental event to date.

Consistency and Achievements

In the 2011/12 season, Gudramovičs placed 15th overall in the World Cup. The following year, he finished 22nd. At the 2012 World Championships in Altenberg, Germany, he achieved his best result at a World Championship, coming in 10th place.

Sochi Olympics and Beyond

Gudramovičs returned to the Olympic stage in Sochi 2014, where he finished 10th in the men's doubles event. He has continued to compete at a high level, regularly achieving top-15 finishes in the World Cup and competing in major championships.
