Biography of Paul David McCrane

Paul David McCrane was born in 1961 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to parents Eileen and James McCrane, an actor and writer. He spent his childhood in Philadelphia, where he also began learning to play the guitar. His teacher even hoped that he would have a successful music career, but McCrane was already deeply passionate about theater. He played his first role as a young actor in 1977 while still a student at Holy Ghost Preparatory School.

Early Career

After his debut, McCrane went on to have a significant number of roles on Broadway and other stages, as well as on screens both big and small.
