Paweł Brożek
Paweł Brożek (born April 21, 1983) is a Polish footballer who plays as a forward for Wisła Kraków.
Early Career
Born in Kielce, Brożek began his career with local club Polonia Białogon. In 1998, he joined Wisła Kraków, making his debut for the first team in April 2001. He had two loan spells with ŁKS Łódź and Katowice before establishing himself as a regular for Wisła in 2005.
Club Success
In the 2007/08 season, Brożek was the leading goalscorer in the Polish Ekstraklasa with 23 goals. He has been a key player for Wisła, helping them win multiple league titles and cups.
International Career
Brożek represented Poland at various youth levels, including the U-16, U-17, U-18, and U-21 teams. He made his debut for the senior national team in April 2005 and scored his first goal in the same match. He was part of Poland's squad at the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
Personal Life
Paweł's identical twin brother, Piotr, is also a footballer who plays for Wisła Kraków as a left winger. In April 2008, Paweł married Joanna Bojarska.
