Peter Cain: Australian Figure Skater and Coach

Peter Cain is an Australian former figure skater who competed in pairs with his sister, Elizabeth Cain. As a team, they became three-time Australian national champions and bronze medalists at the 1976 World Junior Championships. They represented Australia at the 1980 Winter Olympics, where they placed 11th overall, and competed in multiple World Championships, finishing as high as 12th.

Coaching Career

After his competitive career, Peter Cain transitioned into coaching and judging in figure skating. He currently resides and works in Dallas, USA, as a technical specialist for the International Skating Union (ISU). His daughter, Ashley Cain, represents the United States in both pairs and women's singles skating. Peter serves as a coach for Ashley and her partner, as well as other figure skaters, including Australian singles skater Brooklee Han.
