Biography of Peter Hollingworth
Born in Adelaide, Peter Hollingworth became an Anglican priest after serving in the Royal Australian Air Force. He studied theology at the University of Melbourne. At the age of 66, Peter Hollingworth, the Archbishop of Brisbane, became the new Governor-General of Australia. Prior to this, the 66-year-old Reverend devoted 25 years of service to the poor in the Order of St. Lawrence Brotherhood.
