Born in Moscow on April 20, 1966, Pyotr Kuleshov inherited his love for the performing arts from his grandfather, who worked as the lead makeup artist at the Maly Theatre. From a young age, Kuleshov excelled in English, penning verses that were published in the acclaimed literary magazine "Yunosti."
His academic journey took a significant turn in 1986 when he enrolled in the prestigious GITIS (Russian Institute of Theatre Arts), studying under the tutelage of V.P. Ostalsky in the field of drama and film acting. Notable classmates included Alexei Annenkov, Natalia Bolgova, and Zhanna Epple.
Theatre and Film Career
After graduating from GITIS, Kuleshov's career blossomed on the stage. He performed at the Moscow Drama Theatre, the Moscow State Philharmonic, and Alla Pugacheva's Theatre of Song. In 1987, he enrolled in the vocal department of the Moscow Conservatory, further refining his artistic skills.
Transition to Television
Fate took a decisive turn in 1992 when Kuleshov joined Video International's scriptwriting team. His exceptional writing abilities propelled him to the role of host for numerous television programs, including "Delovaya Rossiya" and "Dorogaya Redaktsiya."
