Born in the Russian Empire, he excelled as a goalkeeper. He played for "Viktoriya" and "Neva" football clubs.
National Team and Olympic Aspirations
From 1911 to 1913, he represented the Russian national team in unofficial matches. Despite being selected for the 1912 Olympics, he did not make an appearance.
Education and Work in Russia
He pursued an education at the Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical Institute. Alongside his sporting endeavors, he worked as a proofreader for "Birzhevye Vedomosti."
Emigration and Career in Paris
Seeking new opportunities, he emigrated to Paris. There, he worked as a taxi driver and proofreader for "Poslednie Novosti" and "Russkie Novosti" newspapers.
