Biography of Petr Ivashko
Petr Ivashko is a Belarusian biathlete. He was awarded the title of Honored Master of Sports of the Republic of Belarus on February 14, 1996. Throughout his career, he has been a multiple-time medalist in relay events at the World Championships.
Achievements
In 1996, Ivashko became a world champion in biathlon in the team race, alongside Vadim Sachurin, Oleg Ryzhenkov, and Alexander Popov. They secured the gold medal for Belarus in the event. He continued to excel in the following years, winning another gold medal in the team race at the 1997 World Championships. In 1999, Ivashko added another gold medal to his collection, this time in the relay race.
