Early Career at IKEA

Per Vendbladh began his journey with IKEA in 1984 as a store manager in Vösendorf. In 1988, he became the Country Manager for IKEA Austria, a position he held until 2004.

Expansion and Leadership

Vendbladh's responsibilities grew over the years. In 1999, he became responsible for IKEA operations in Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. From 2004 to 2008, he oversaw two major programs for IKEA globally and served on the supervisory board of Inter IKEA Centre Group A/S in Denmark.

Inter IKEA Centre Group

On January 1, 2009, Vendbladh was appointed Managing Director of Inter IKEA Centre Group. He was responsible for Austria, Switzerland, Southeast Europe, and shopping centers in Heide and Graz.

Moscow Transition

After 25 years in Austria, Vendbladh relocated to Moscow, continuing his career with IKEA.
