Phil Inkley is a British man who currently lives in the forest. He developed an allergy to electronic devices and any manifestations of scientific and technological progress. After coming into contact with electronics, Phil experiences all the symptoms of an allergy - he starts sneezing and coughing, itching and overall experiences severe physical discomfort. As a result, Phil had to move to live in the lap of nature, physically removing himself from the electronics-filled world. The diagnosis was made when Wi-Fi became a part of his life. It was then that he had to admit the obvious - Phil had developed a very strange and rare form of allergy to electronic devices. He started coughing and sneezing, suffering from constant nosebleeds, having pounding headaches, and experiencing irregular heartbeats. Later, seizures and fainting spells occurred. Phil's life gradually became more and more like hell. Eventually, the source of his trouble was discovered - electrical appliances, or more precisely, Phil's individual hypersensitivity to electrical devices. It turned out that the human body can show intolerance not only to chemicals, certain foods, animal fur, and medications but also to scientific and technological progress.
Struggling for a Solution
When Phil learned that he had acquired this strange ailment, he was devastated. He wanted to believe that he was going crazy. "It would have been easier," he says. "But I knew that wasn't the case." In confusion, he spent some time until he began to search for a solution to his problem. "It was very scary what was happening to me, but I thought: this is England. I just have to get in touch with the authorities and explain, and they will figure it out. That's how naive I was," Phil recalls. Of course, it was impossible to help him with known methods. It seemed that the only acceptable way of life for him was a "primitive" one. But he had no choice - health was more important. So he had to gradually give up the comforts of civilization and literally retreat into the woods.
Current Situation
Phil Inkley now lives in a trailer in the forest, far from civilization and its wonders of progress. He still hasn't come to terms with the fact that this strange illness has turned his familiar life upside down and now completely dominates him. He hopes that it is temporary and that the problem will somehow resolve itself over time. Phil does not hide the fact that his forced isolation is very exhausting for him. He is a modern man used to enjoying the benefits of modern life and progress. Of course, there are charms in living in the lap of nature, cooking simple meals over a campfire, and many people may even envy Phil in some ways. However, it is indisputable that such a lifestyle should be a personal choice, made once a decision is made to step away from the gadget-filled world. In Phil's case, this was not his choice; on the contrary, it was the only option left to him in life. Nevertheless, Phil copes, hoping every day that one day the illness will recede and that doctors and scientists will find a cure for his rare condition. By the way, Phil is not alone - there have already been several cases of similar conditions in the world, where people cannot tolerate electrical appliances.
