Biography of Phillip Schofield
Phillip Schofield, a British television presenter, was born on April 1, 1962, in Oldham, Lancashire, England, United Kingdom. He grew up and was raised in Newquay, Cornwall. At the age of 15, he first ventured into the media industry by appearing on a Sunday show for the radio station 'Hospital Radio Plymouth'. At 17, Schofield was hired as a clerk at BBC Radio in London, becoming the youngest employee at the time. By the age of 19, he and his family moved to New Zealand, where he made his television debut as the host of the children's music program 'Shazam!' in 1982. Additionally, Schofield worked for two years at the private radio station 'Radio Hauraki'.

Returning to England in 1985, Schofield took on the responsibility of hosting a series of children's programs on BBC for children aged 6 to 12. He later made his way into adult television, including various documentary and holiday programs for ITV. Currently, he is one of the hosts of the television talk show 'This Morning' and co-presents the popular celebrity reality show 'Dancing on Ice' with Holly Willoughby, which has been nominated for a BAFTA award.

Schofield not only secured a permanent position on 'This Morning' but also signed a two-year exclusive contract with ITV, referred to as the 'golden handcuffs' due to the company's ability to retain specialists. The contract is rumored to be worth £5 million. As part of the deal, Schofield had to step down as the host of the BBC game show 'Test the Nation', and his position was filled by Danny Wallace.

Devoting himself to the ITV reality show 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!', Schofield continued to be one of the hosts of its follow-up show, 'I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! Exclusive', alongside Sheree Murphy. He also presented the program 'Have I Been Here Before?', in which celebrities tried to uncover their past lives with the help of an expert in the field named Andrea Foulkes.

On February 23, 2007, Schofield celebrated his 25th anniversary as a television presenter. The program 'This Morning' featured highlights from his career, as well as his parents, Pat and Brian, his wife Stephanie, daughters Ruby and Molly, and his brother Tim. However, on May 1, 2008, Schofield had to endure the loss of his father, who passed away due to a long-standing heart condition. Mourning his father, the British presenter temporarily stepped away from 'This Morning', and John Barrowman filled in for him until his return.
In April 2008, Schofield and his colleague Fern Britton presented the celebrity version of the TV show 'Mr. & Mrs.'. Following its successful ratings, the second season of the show aired in the spring of 2009. Currently, Phillip hosts the British game show 'The Cube', where contestants face challenges inside a 4x4x4 meter plexiglass cube, requiring them to think hard to eventually win a prize of up to £250,000.
Schofield also tried his hand in the theater. He took on the role of Joseph in the musical production of 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' in London's West End. As a result, his single 'Close Every Door' achieved moderate success, charting in the UK. He also participated in another theatrical production, 'Doctor Dolittle'.
Schofield is married to Stephanie Lowe, whom he started dating during his time at the BBC. The couple has two children, daughters Ruby and Molly. The British presenter never allows himself to gain excess weight. To maintain his shape, he eats only once a day, excluding breakfast, rarely consumes fried food, takes a one-hour walk every Friday with his wife, and engages in Pilates every Wednesday.
