Ukrainian Duo "Potap & Nastia"

Formation and Early Success

In 2006, Ukrainian musicians Alexey Potapenko (Potap) and Anastasiya Kamensky established the duo "Potap & Nastia." Potap served as the group's producer, songwriter, and music composer, as well as the main director and screenwriter for their music videos. In 2007, the duo triumphed at the 3rd All-Russian contest "Five Stars" and earned the privilege of performing the anthem for the 2014 Sochi Olympics.

Debut Album and Rising Popularity

The duo's debut album, "Ne Para" (2008), was an instant success, propelled by hit singles that soared to the top of Ukrainian charts. Potap & Nastia's music resonated deeply with audiences, and their popularity grew exponentially, with albums selling out and multiple concerts being held daily.

Musical Films and Soundtracks

In 2009, Potap & Nastia starred in the New Year's musical "Red Riding Hood," playing the Wolf and Red Riding Hood, respectively. They also contributed the "Red Riding Hood Song" to the soundtrack. In 2011, they released "You-Crazy," the official soundtrack for the film "Vykrutasy." In 2014, they lent their voices to animated characters Tusky and Pruzhyna in the movie "7th Dwarf," performing several songs.

In the same year, Potap & Nastia provided voices for characters in the animated films "Babay" (Witch - Nastia; Babay - Potap) and "Alice in Wonderland" (Father and Mother of Afanasius - Potap & Nastia; Rabbit and a mouse nicknamed Red Sonja).

"Golden Whales" Tour and Anniversary Special

In 2016, Potap & Nastia embarked on their "Golden Whales" world tour to mark the duo's 10th anniversary. The tour culminated in a grand concert, "Potap & Nastia - 10 Years. Golden Whales," which was broadcast on Channel 1+1. To commemorate the decade, they released a live album, "Golden Whales - 10 Years (Live in Kiev)," featuring 20 songs performed during the concert. The anniversary show showcased their signature hits and introduced new musical offerings, captivating audiences with stunning visuals, innovative choreography, and vibrant costumes.

Collaboration with "Vremya i Steklo"

In 2016, Potap & Nastia teamed up with the Ukrainian pop group "Vremya i Steklo" for a groundbreaking performance at the annual M1 Music Awards. Nastia Kamensky and Nadya Dorofeeva debuted their duet, "Abnimos/Dosvidos," which became an instant internet sensation thanks to its energetic choreography.

Hiatus and Solo Careers

In 2017, the duo announced a hiatus from their musical collaboration, ending a successful 11-year partnership. Shortly after, they revealed their intentions to pursue solo careers under the pseudonyms PTP and NK.

Marriage and "Konstanta"

In 2019, Anastasiya Kamensky and Alexey Potapenko tied the knot in a private ceremony. The couple had previously kept their relationship a secret for many years. However, they unveiled their love in the music video for their single, "Konstanta." In the song, Potap openly declared his love for Nastia, stating, "I love you more than anyone in the world." The lyrics also addressed their decision to keep their relationship private.
