Rachel Legrain-Trapani Biography

Rachel Legrain-Trapani, a French model, was born on August 31, 1988, in the city of Sen-So, in the Nord department. She currently resides in Saint-Quentin, where she earned the title of beauty queen of the Aisne department. On December 9, 2006, she became the 53rd Miss France.

Rachel represented the Picardy region in the Miss France 2007 competition, which took place on December 9, 2006. The jury was led by singer Michel Sardou, comedian Muriel Robin, and Miss France 2006, Alexandra Rosenfeld. Rachel was crowned Miss France 2007, with Sophie Vouzelaud, Miss Limousin, as the first runner-up, Raïssa Boyer, Miss Réunion, as the second runner-up, Krystel Norden, Miss Paris, as the third runner-up, Lyse Ruchat, Miss Aquitaine, as the fourth runner-up, Elodie Robert, Miss Côte d'Azur, as the fifth runner-up, and Stéphanie Wawrzyniak, Miss Alsace, as the sixth runner-up.

Rachel later participated in the Miss Universe 2007 and Miss World 2007 pageants. Although she initially offered to give her spot to the second-place winner, Sophie Vouzelaud, due to the importance of advocating for the rights of disabled individuals (Sophie is deaf), this proposal was rejected by the Miss Universe competition committee for violating the rules. Rachel reached the finals of the Miss World 2007 competition.

In 2007, Rachel appeared in the television game show "Game One" and represented Play Hit. Starting in April 2008, she worked on NRJ radio as part of the "Faitesеentrer l’invité" program with the NRJ 6/9 team. Rachel also held titles such as Miss Pays du Ribemontois 2006 (elected on April 22, 2006), Miss Aisne 2006 (received on October 21, 2006), and Miss Picardy 2006 (received on November 5, 2006).
