Radojica Đjalović: A Montenegrin Football Star
Early Career and Rise to SuccessRadojica Đjalović, a Montenegrin footballer, started his professional career with Jedinstvo, the team from his hometown. In June 2000, he joined Crvena Zvezda, winning the Yugoslav Championship in the 2000-01 season. After a brief stint at Železnik, he moved to Croatian club Zagreb in July 2002.
At Zagreb, Đjalović emerged as a prolific goalscorer, becoming the team's top scorer twice in the 2002-03 and 2003-04 seasons. His performances earned him a transfer to German club Arminia Bielefeld in January 2005.
International Career
Đjalović made his international debut for Montenegro on October 17, 2007, in a friendly against Estonia. He scored his maiden goal on March 26, 2008, in a match against Norway. He went on to make 26 appearances for the national team out of the first 40 matches played. His last appearance came in November 2011 in a UEFA Euro 2012 playoff match against the Czech Republic.
In February 2012, following a snub from the national team, Đjalović announced his retirement from international football. His record stands at 26 caps, 7 goals, 12 wins, 5 draws, and 9 losses.
Later Career
After his time at Arminia Bielefeld, Đjalović played for Kayseri Erciyesspor in Turkey and Rijeka in Croatia. In July 2008, he joined Rapid București, where he spent two years. He returned to Rijeka in July 2010 before moving to Russian club Amkar Perm in March 2011.
Đjalović currently plays for Bangkok in Thailand. His impressive career has seen him win titles in Yugoslavia, Croatia, and Montenegro, as well as represent his country at the international level.
