Biography of Rich Piana
Rich Piana was an American bodybuilder who openly admitted to using steroids. Weighing in at 140 kg, he stated that he had been on performance-enhancing drugs since his teenage years and had no intention of changing that. Piana lived in a world of excess, residing in huge homes, consuming ten large meals a day, and continuously growing his disproportionately inflated muscles. His excessive muscularity was a result of decades of high-dose steroid use. However, his shocked colleagues and fellow bodybuilders, who were also heavily pumped but in moderation, recently posted a video on YouTube urging Piana to stop. The side effects of steroid use naturally affected Piana, who frequently discusses this topic on his own YouTube channel. But the bodybuilder insists that he is content with his life and the path he has chosen. His approach is best summarized by the slogan of his company, which specializes in effective body transformation supplements - "By Any Means Necessary."

Early Life and Rise in Bodybuilding
Rich Piana, the son of a bodybuilding mother, was born in Los Angeles, California. He was introduced to the world of weightlifting at the age of eleven when he would visit the gym and watch his mother prepare for her competitions. Soon, Piana became passionate about bodybuilding himself. According to information from the website 'Deadspin', Rich competed in his first competitions at the age of fifteen but failed to place among the winners. Several subsequent failures led the aspiring bodybuilder to turn to steroids, which he has included and excluded from his training programs for the past 27 years. He even posts graphs of steroid use on Instagram, designing these schemes himself. Explaining his approach in one of his videos, Piana said, "If you have a choice between using steroids or building muscle naturally, go with the latter. There's no justification for taking steroids. They only harm your body, they harm you. But guess what will happen when you want to become a professional bodybuilder? You'll probably have to take those damn steroids. You won't have a choice. That's what happened to me." Piana continues, "I competed on stage and reached the point where there's nothing for you to do on that stage if you're not taking steroids. So that's when this step was taken. But you know what... I'm happy with my choice, I'm happy with how everything turned out in my life. I wouldn't want it any other way."

Bodybuilding Career and Beyond
Since then, Piana has placed seventh and eleventh in national bodybuilding championships and has won several state titles, including the title of "Mr. California." There were moments when the bodybuilder spent $2500 on hormones alone, not counting the money spent on steroids.

Today, Piana no longer competes in bodybuilding competitions. However, he continues to work on his body and achieve new goals he sets for himself. Piana earns substantial sums by endorsing various brands and selling supplements, as well as generating revenue from his social media channels.

Recently, the relentless powerhouse presented a four-month challenge called "Bigger by the Day." He promised that any of his viewers could gain nearly 14 kg of lean muscle mass by following his insane workouts and nutrition plan.

In his videos, Piana complained about the frequent weigh-ins he had to undergo. He also mentioned the constant preparation of protein shakes, stating, "This amount would be enough to drown a baby," referring to the huge amounts of protein he consumed.

To prove the effectiveness of his workouts and nutrition regimen, Piana himself completed his "Bigger by the Day" challenge. Afterward, he set a new goal for himself - to lose around 30 kg because "there were too many muscles."
Discussing nutrition, training programs, or steroid use, Rich prefers to never hold back. It is this honest approach that helped him make a name for himself in the bodybuilding world.
"I think people trust me," the bodybuilder stated at the end.
Tragic PassingRich Piana passed away on August 25, 2017, after being in a three-week coma. According to the autopsy report, Piana, who openly admitted to years of steroid use, had a number of health issues. However, even these documents do not provide an answer to the question of what ultimately caused his death.
