Leadership of True Finns
In June 2021, the former Chairman of True Finns, Jussi Halla-aho, announced his resignation. At a party congress held in Seinäjoki on August 14, 2021, Purra was elected as the new Chairman of True Finns. She received 774 out of 1302 votes, securing a clear majority over her competitors.
