Biography of Rika Izumi

Rika Izumi is a Japanese model, actress, and singer. She gained recognition for her role as Ami Mizuno (Sailor Mercury) in the television series "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon". In the additional episodes of the series, she was credited as "Rika" with different kanji characters from her current pseudonyms.

During her time in "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon", Rika released a CD single featuring two songs from her character, Sailor Mercury: "Mi Amor" (meaning "my love" in Spanish) and "Yakusoku" (meaning "promise" in Japanese).

After her appearance in "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon", there was a two-year hiatus where no new photographs of Rika surfaced. However, she continued her career after enrolling in Meiji University in 2007.

In June 2008, Rika made her comeback to the world of modeling. She has been mentioned in the credits of three films: "The Go Master" (2005), "Clearness" (2008), and "Go Seigen (Five Restrictions)" (2008).
